About

<– This is me. :)

I decided it was time to update this page.  But for the sake of preservation, I’m not deleting the old about page.  I’m just adding to it.  A lot has happened since I wrote that about page.  A lot.  I’ve moved twice.  I have a new job and a new dog.  I now live in Williamsport in my own house.  I now work for Chilitech as a network technician.  That’s right, no more selling cell phones.  No more retail.  No more working weekends.  It’s good times.  Umm, I also graduated… way back in May.  It took me till October to find a job but I suppose that’s part of life.  Anyway, if you want to come visit the new pad, you are more than welcome.  Just give me a call sometime.  That’s all for now.

For those of you who don’t know me (or for those of you who want to know my better), my name is Curtis Steinbacher. I’m from a humble little place they call The Sticks (a.k.a. Salladasburg, PA). I’m currently in my last year of College at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. When and if i graduate in May, I will have my bachelor of science in Computer Networking. Prior to going to Penn College, I graduated from Lancaster Bible College with an Associates degree in Bible in 2005. I’m currently employed by AT&T Mobility (formerly Cingular, priorly At&t Wireless, future Google Wireless.) And, I’m a sales rep. Yes that’s right, I sell the cells.

Most importantly, I’m a Christian and it defines who I am. I currently attend Tabernacle Baptist Church of Williamsport (at least when I don’t have to work on Sunday (which hopefully I won’t have to work Sundays too much longer)). I am no longer single. That’s right, that’s right, I found my sweetheart. Her name is Chelsea and she is amazing!

Some random stuff about me…. My favorite color is orange. I was born on August 13, 1984, which makes me 23. I’m a big fan of food, especially Mexican. However, there are a few rules that I follow when it comes to food:

  1. There should be no traces of Mayo in, on, or around the food.
  2. Foods that are supposed to be warm should be eaten warm; cold foods should stay cold
  3. Bread must never be soggy (cause that’s just nasty)
  4. And this last one is a recent addition…

  5. Oreos must never be eaten like cereal (unless of course you are eating the actual Oreo cereal)

My hobbies include mountain biking, playing guitar, and controlling the earth’s rotation from my computer. Okay that last one is not true. But I probably do spend more than enough time in front of the computer. But hey, it’s my major and what I plan to do for a living. I also enjoy outdoorsy stuff such as hiking, especially during the fall months when the leaves are changing. Rickett’s Glenn State Park is the best!

Anywho, that’s all for now. More to come.
