Question Of the Day

December 26th, 2008 Curtis Leave a comment Go to comments

So I think I’m going to start a new section and see how it goes.  I’m going to call it question of the day.  And it’s usually going to be something semi-profound.  Or… ya know… just downright stupid.  Beginning with:

Why do toasters always have a setting so high that it could burn the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?

I’m looking for the best answer to that question.  If you think you’ve got it, leave a comment (You don’t need to sign up or anything… just post.)  Remember, it’s a profound question, it deserves a profound answer.

The reason behind this is quite simple really. If you are ever in the market for a new toaster, how do you compare them? Therein lies the answer to your profound question. The highest setting, burning the toast to a crisp is only real way you can measure a toaster’s ability. If you have 3 toasters and you can’t decide which one to buy, find out which one will burn the toast to a crisp the quickest. The first one done is the one you should buy. It will save you precious time throughout your life, time that you could never get back if you had gotten a weaker toaster.

Toasters have this setting so that you can have a question of the day…

i’ll be waiting with baited breath to see this new question and then try my hardest to come up with the most ridiculous, yet seemingly likely answer so that i might be able to steal kenny’s thunder
