the world is out
Maybe it’s just me… maybe I just try too hard. Maybe I think that I’m not good enough. But did you ever notice that the world is out to get you? Probably not, and let me tell you why. Because it’s out to get me! And it, of course can’t be out to get more than one person at a time. It just seems sometimes that nothing works out in my favor. I have a day off, it’s cloudy. I meet a girl I like, she finds someone the next day, I get close with an unsuspecting friend, and she moves to the other end of the country. And that’s not all… one thing after another seems fall into place perfectly in my life… perfectly against the way I would have it. So why? Why me? Good question with probably a good answer. So, if you have it, please let me know. 
In all honesty, when I face the unfairness of life, it never fails to remind me of James 1.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
I can honestly say, I may be lacking in the joy aspect sometimes. most of the time. So, if you remember… pray that I can persevere though the trials of life that seem to “single me out”. I know they’re not huge all the time, but the last thing I need is for a cloudy day to steal my joy. God Bless.
you have to stop being so hard on yourself. as they say, everything happens for a reason and we are too feeble minded to understand why until the ah ha moment much later…
